The Moto1 Motorcycles KTM Team will make the 4000+KM round trip from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland to Murray Bridge, SA, for Round 5 of the ProMX Championship.

With Round 5 of the ProMX Championship also seeing the return of the MXW Class (R2 of the MXW Championship) the Moto1 Motorcycles KTM Team will see the return to racing at a National level for freshly crowned Sunshine State MX Series Champion Darci Whalley. After missing Round 1 at Wonthaggi, Vic, with injury, Whalley is a welcome addition back to the team roster for Murray Bridge.

“I’m so excited to be back with the team after missing Round 1 of ProMX,” said Whalley. “This will be my first time at Murray Bridge and I’ve heard so many good things about the track. After our success in SSMX I can’t wait to get out there and do battle with the front runners in MXW.”

Along with the return of MXW, the Moto1 Motorcycles KTM Team will also field their MX3 class duo of Deacon Paice and Zac O’Loan.

After spending some time at home in WA following the Manjimup 1500 event, Paice is eyeing a return to form at Murray Bridge. “It was great to spend some time at home in WA. Murray Bridge has the red sand that I’m very familiar with and it’s a super fun track that I feel will suit me. After a rough round at Maitland we are ready to bounce back for this weekend,” explained Paice.

Zac O’Loan will also look to continue his progression after posting season-best speed and results at Maitland in the MX3 class at the previous ProMX Round.

Round 5 of the 2024 ProMX Championship takes place at Murray Bridge, SA on Sunday 23rd June, with the event being broadcast across free-to-air coverage on SBS and the streaming platform SBS On Demand along with the ProMX TV live stream coverage.
