ProMX Championship In The Books For Wilksch On Board the CMC BETA Australia Team
Andy Wilksch finished out his second appearance on board the Caloundra Motorcycle Centre (CMC) BETA Australia Team and the BETA RX450 at Queensland Moto Park (QMP) for the Final Round of the ProMX Championship.
An AORC Championship contender in the Off-Road world, Wilksh showed great crossover skills jumping into the final 2 rounds of the ProMX Championship, where following an injury at the penultimate round for Team regular Levi Rogers, he would fly the CMC BETA flag solo at QMP.
After a race related incident saw a DNF in the opening Moto, Wilksch would bounce back for a solid 16th place in Moto 2, landing him in 19th Overall at the Final Round.
“It’s been a fantastic experience competing in the ProMX Championship and I want to thank both Zac and Corey from Caloundra Motorcycle Centre and BETA Australia for this opportunity,” said Wilksch.
“The track was very different over the two days with the midweek rain, extremely heavy on Saturday and high speed on Sunday. I learnt a lot every time the gate dropped and I was happy with how I rode in the final moto to finish my adventure into ProMX Racing for 2024,” concluded Wilksch.
