Privateer Program Announced For Caleb Goullet Ahead Of AUSX Championship
Victorian based privateer Caleb Goullet will step into his rookie SX1 Class campaign for the 2024 Australian Supercross Championship (AUSX) kicking off at KAYO Stadium, Redcliffe QLD on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th October.
Long time Supercross specialist, Goullet structures his racing calendar around the Supercross season and is no stranger to the stadium confines of AUSX. With the 2023 Season his best to date, as a member of the Empire Kawasaki Team in SX2 and being drafted to compete in the Indian Supercross Leagues inaugural Championship Season, Goullet brings this momentum into his new program for 2024.
Stepping into the SX1 Class, two key partnerships have allowed Goullet to charge into the Premier class ready for battle at KAYO Stadium this weekend with the announcement of Goullet’s JKAYS Elliot Bros Racing program.
“I wanted to step into SX1 for 2024 and I wanted to do my own program and partner with people I knew were in my corner and backing me 100%”, commented Goullet.
“JKAYS Group is a leading Construction Group emerging in Melbourne and my friend Jake Kalny is young and driven to succeed in business, just like I am in racing. They have stepped up in a big way to make this season possible and I am excited to show everyone the content we have planned for this AUSX Championship.”
“I decided to ride the GAS GAS MC450 this season and that was in part due to my relationship and the support that Elliot Bros have offered me. The Bendigo based dealership has been amazing with assisting in putting together my program and everyone knows how passionate they are for supporting racing,” concluded Goullet.
Debuting in SX1, the emphasis for Goullet is to make every main event in SX1 and develop experience riding the 450 across all 5 Rounds of AUSX.
Rounds 1 and 2 of the 2024 Australian Supercross Championship take place at KAYO Stadium, Redcliffe QLD, on October 12th and 13th. The event will be broadcast across free-to-air coverage on KAYO Streaming in Australia and MAVTV for international audiences.
