The Moto1 Motorcycles Honda Team finished off the 2024 ProMX Championship at Queensland Moto Park (QMP), with Team riders Rian and Curtis King on board the 2025 Honda CRF250R.

The New Zealand duo based on the Sunshine Coast during the racing season have rode the highs and lows of professional racing in the MX2 Class, culminating at QMP for the Final Round of the ProMX Championship.

Rian King continues to build on his return from midseason injury, taking positive steps with a day best 13th position and 15th Overall on the day and 16th in the ProMX MX2 Championship.

“My starts today let me down and it was hard to come through the field with how competitive the MX2 Class is. I learnt a lot this season as a rookie in MX2 and we have a lot of positives to take away from this heading into 2025,” commented King.

Curtis King continued to push all season long, closing out the day at QMP with The 18-DNF Moto scores and 21st Overall.

Moto1 Motorcycles Dealership Owner Shane Fretwell commented on the 2024 ProMX MX2 Championship with Honda: “Our Honda Racing Team has also grown tremendously this season and to have the King Brothers fly the Honda flag in ProMX was a great expansion for us and our partners at Honda Motorcycles Australia. With World Championship pedigree in their family, I have no doubt Rian and Curtis will continue to excel in Pro Racing into the future and we now look forward to 2025.”
