Injury Update: Kaleb Barham
After his nasty crash at the second round of World Supercross in Perth, Kaleb Barham has confirmed he’s suffered a broken wrist. This was certainly a devastating way for the talented Australia to end his season, as he was really enjoying his time racing under the CDR Yamaha Monster Energy awning in WSX and testing himself against a wide range of elite riders from across the globe.
“Sucks to be making this post, but unfortunately I had a crash at WSX resulting in a dislocated wrist with a couple of breaks. Obviously I am gutted, but as we all know, this is how the sport goes sometimes,” Barham lamented.
“Thankfully the Race Safe crew had me sorted until I was able to fly home and now I’m getting ready for surgery with Dr. Steve Andrews to let the body heal. Thank you to the CDR Yamaha Monster Energy Team, Yamaha Motor Australia and the Yamalube Yamaha team for this opportunity. Met some people I have looked up to my whole life, raced some of the baddest dudes on the planet and made some cool mates along the way.”
We wish him all the best for a swift recovery in his pursuit to get back out there in 2025.
