CMC Racing And Levi Rogers Look For More Success At ProMX Round 2

Levi Rogers led the CMC Racing charge at Wonthaggi, taking the industry by surprise with a very impressive 6th Overall in MX1 at Wonthaggi along with making the Superpole session and looks to continue that momentum at Appin.

“I felt right at home on the YZ450 at Wonthaggi and the CMC Racing program has given me everything I need to be competitive as a privateer in MX1”, said Rogers.

“I love the sand, but I am equally strong in the ruts and hard pack conditions. Appin is a tough track but I am looking forward to going racing and posting another Top 10 result”, concluded Rogers.

In the MX2 Class, Sam Larsen has taken the time after Wonthaggi to acclimate back into Australian racing conditions, the current Thailand MX2 National Championship Red Plate holder looking forward to stronger results at Appin.

“Both myself and Joel Evans spent the months leading up to Wonthaggi competing and training in Thailand. The conditions are far rougher in Australia and I knew Wonthaggi was going to be a rough introduction back into ProMX. I’ve had a solid few weeks on the bike and feel far more at home heading into Appin this weekend”, commented Larsen.

CMC Racing Team development riders Adison Treeby, Hayden and Lochy Roche will focus on taking what they learned from Wonthaggi and applying it to the highly competitive MX3 Class at Appin.

Team Green supported Joel Evans has also been logging laps since returning from Thailand and Wonthaggi, with a positive few weeks leading into Appin.

“It’s been great to be home and finally get some time on the Team Green CMC Racing KX450”, said Evans.

“We finished 12th Overall at Wonthaggi so my goal this weekend is to qualify for Superpole and lodge a Top 10 Overall”, said Evans.

Round 2 of the 2025 ProMX Championship will take place at the Macarthur Motorcycle Club and the Appin Circuit in VNSW, on Sunday April 13th. The event is broadcast across free-to-air coverage on SBS and streaming platform SBS On Demand along with the ProMX TV livestream coverage.
