The Winner Triumph Racing Australia Team heads to Wonthaggi, Victoria for the Opening Round of the ProMX Championship across the weekend of March 22nd and 23rd. As the South East Melbourne based team’s home town event, Wonthaggi also debuts the outfits new rider signings and first gate drop on Triumph Machinery.

With the off-season signing announcement of Jack Simpson, riding the All-New TF450RC for the team and returning to ProMX competition following years of racing in America, Wonthaggi also coincides as Simpson’s hometown event.

“This will be my first ProMX race in 10 years and to be back at Wonthaggi, a track I live an hour away from, is very special for me.  I’ve been riding the TF450RC for about six weeks now and we have made amazing progress with Tunetech Suspension and Brock, our in-house mechanic.”

“This is my first gate drop on the new bike and with the new team, I’m excited to see what we can do and I want to lodge solid laps and constant results as a base for the rest of the Championship”, concluded Simpson.

Alongside Simpson in MX1, young Victorian Seth Jackson joins the program as the second  TF450RC rider, further bolstering the Winner Triumph Racing Australia team presence in the premier class.

In the MX2 Class, returning riders Connar Adams and Thynan Kean have enjoyed a full off-season of testing and development on the TF250-X and eagerly await the gate drop of the 25’ ProMX Championship after success at local pre-season races over the past month.

Winner Triumph Racing Australia team owner Karen Adams commented on the excitement heading into the ProMX Opening Round;

“Following our off-season signings across our new relationship with Triumph Australia and our expanded rider line up, this has been a consolidated effort across all areas of our growing team infrastructure to be ready and competitive at Round 1.”

“All the riders are feeling comfortable, with a later release date of the Triumph TF450RC it has been a tight turn around but we feel the team is on track to put our best foot forward this weekend at Wonthaggi”, commented Adams.

The Opening Round of the 2025 ProMX Championship will take place at the Wonthaggi Circuit in Victoria on March 22nd and 23rd. The event is broadcast across free-to-air coverage on SBS and streaming platform SBS On Demand along with the ProMX TV livestream coverage.
