HomeTown ProMX Round For Moto1 Motorcycles KTM At MX Farm

After spending the entirety of the 2024 ProMX Championship traversing the country, the Sunshine Coast based dealership Team of Moto1 Motorcycles KTM now gets to enjoy a HomeTown ProMX at MX Farm, QLD for Round 7.

Coming into round 7, the MX3 based squad will retain its expanded 4 rider line up, with Team regulars Deacon Paice #621 and Zac O’Loan #17, being joined once again by New Zealand based support riders Cooper Philips #112 and Phoenix Van Dusschoten #722.

Deacon Paice maintains a solid 5th in the MX Class ProMX Championship and with the young rider from WA now calling the Sunshine Coast home during the season, hopes are high for Paice to find the podium again at the familiar MX Farm circuit.

“I ride MX Farm pretty much every week”, said Paice. “Obviously race conditions are different and it doesn’t always translate, but to be somewhere I have done many laps this season is going to help, especially with me having to learn so many tracks this year being from WA. I’m excited to see what we can do this weekend.”

Similarly, the Sunshine Coast based team riders of O’Loan and Van Dusschoten are equally primed for success at MX Farm, with the Gympie track being used as a regular training venue for the MX3 youngsters.

Moto1 Motorcycles Dealership owner Shane Fretwell is also looking forward to the HomeTown ProMX at MX Farm.

“The local event both this weekend at MX Farm and next at QMP is huge for us. We spend the majority of the Pro Racing season on the road, but we have a big footprint in this region so to be able to showcase our Professional Racing Programs to the local Motocross community is a great opportunity,” commented Mr. Fretwell.

Round 7 of the 2024 ProMX Championship takes place at MX Farm, QLD on Sunday 11th August, with the event being broadcast across free-to-air coverage on SBS and the streaming platform SBS On Demand along with the ProMX TV live stream coverage.
