The Moto1 Motorcycles KTM Racing Team will travel to Maitland, NSW and the Motorcycle hot spot of the Hunter Valley for Round 4 of the ProMX Championship Taking place on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th May.

With WA youngster Deacon Paice once again leading the charge for the KTM Australia backed MX3 Class program, Paice continues to impress in his maiden Championship contention campaign in 2024.

Currently sitting in a tie for 3rd position in the MX3 Class Championship, with one Moto victory and an overall podium already claimed on the early season, Paice looks to Maitland for more success.

“I’m starting to move past the stigma of being a sand specialist coming from WA and my success at Horsham with the Moto win has proved that”, commented Paice.

“We have been training hard and I’ve had a solid run since Gillman where I was disappointed with my results even though they were good for the Championship. I’m ready to go this weekend”, concluded Paice.

The Moto1 Motorcycles KTM Team will be down a Team Rider for upcoming events with QLD based Jett Williams suffering a shoulder and collarbone injury that will sideline him throughout the winter. The team awaits an update on his potential return time from injury.

Reduced to a duo of Team riders, Team mate Zac O’Loan will now look to further fly the Moto1 flag alongside Paice. Coming off his best finish of the season at Gillman, O’Loan is looking for consistent finishes across the two day format.

“It’s been a slow start to the season but Gillman was a real improvement that I am excited to build on heading into Maitland”, said O’Loan.

For the Moto1 Motorcycles KTM program, ProMX Round 4 at Maitland also showcases several of the Sunshine Coast based Dealership’s junior supported riders in the KTM 65cc Cup. Riders such as Chase Worthington and Jack Hollliday will be out on track at Maitland as the next generation of riders supported by the Moto1 Motorcycles Dealership.
