00 Elite Rider Training Primed For AUSX
With the Opening Rounds of the 2024 Australian Supercross Championship (AUSX) on the horizon, the 00 Elite Rider Training Program has been at the forefront of progressing the coaching blueprint in Australia for the next generation of Supercross talent to excel at KAYO Stadium this weekend.
Head coach and program director Nathan Crawford has been hard at work since the conclusion of the ProMX Championship, building on standout results across a range of riders on both the Professional and Junior Development programs.
In an ongoing endeavour to step past a generic coaching program and redefine industry standards, Crawford has continued to elevate the 00 Elite infrastructure, leaving no stone unturned heading into the 2024 AUSX Championship.
“There are multiple factors to consider when putting together a program for our riders that will allow them to not only be safe and efficient Supercross riders, but also compete at the front of the field.”
“We have been training since September 1st across multiple tracks we have access to in the program. I liaise across the race teams, suspension technicians and our fitness training partner, along with both the pro riders and the juniors we have in the program.”
“The standout riders we have on the program such as SX2 Title contenders Kayden Minear and Kaleb Barham (who also coaches our junior program riders) along with Aaron Tanti, will all excel at KAYO Stadium. Equally my focus will be on the 85cc and SX3 riders who are just beginning their Supercross journey. Each and every rider has shown great progress on the program and our ability to provide them with an infrastructure, replica rhythm sections to the Supercross track maps and an overall platform to give themselves the best chance to AUSX success in 2024 is an exciting prospect heading into the Opening Rounds,” concluded Crawford.
Rounds 1 and 2 of the 2024 Australian Supercross Championship take place at KAYO Stadium, Redcliffe QLD, on October 12th and 13th. The event will be broadcast across free-to-air coverage on KAYO Streaming in Australia and MAVTV for international audiences.
